Our Texas House...

So we're sitting around this past weekend listening to the kids playing out front with several of their friends, when we overheard the following exchange:

Riley:  What kind of house did you leave in before?

Friend:  What do you mean what kind of house?

Riley:  Well we lived in a Texas house before we moved into this one.

I don't know exactly what came after that but it doesn't really matter.  The Texas house was priceless.  Riley also learned to drive...a Barbie jeep.  If her skills are any indication of how she will drive later, then she will never leave the house.  With her friends Gracie and Emma in tow (it is their jeep) she was stopping and starting and stopping and starting...with each stop sending the wagon with Gracie and Emma crashing into the back of the jeep...and then lunging forward as she hit the gas.  It was quality entertainment to say the least.   All walked away in one piece somehow.

As for Jackson he has become the enforcer lately, specifically around it being too late for anything.

At dinner:

Riley:  Can I go outside and play again after dinner?

Jackson:  No, too late Riley.

Riley:  Yeaaaaah, I want to go outside.

Jackson:  No, too late!  Too late.

The Enforcer.

I decided to let Jackson build the raised vegetable garden.
